Entry Level Requirements
The course meets the IMCA standards demanded from the Marine Contractors so that the neo ROV Pilots can immediately work in the Offshore ROV field; the "Entry Level Requirements and Basic Introductory Course for Remote Operated Vehicle Personnel"; (IMCA R 002, as revised) set out the basic entry-level requirements for the ROV industry for personnel who have no prior relevant offshore experience:

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION LEVEL:
- formal qualifications (academic, trade or in the armed forces) in one of these areas:
- or electricity
- or electronic
- or hydraulic
- or mechanical
- or three years of work experience in one of these areas in the previous four years
- Extensive experience in the industrial sector supported by appropriate documentation
- Technical degree
BEHAVIORAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Enthusiasm
- Attitude to teamwork
- Good communication skills oral and written
- Manual ability
- Sense of responsibility
MEDICAL FITNESS
- Have a valid health certificate issued by your primary care physician
- You must undergo and pass a medical examination which classifies you as medically fit to work in the offshore environment
In addition to this, it is strongly recommended a good knowledge of written and spoken English. You can do an English test in our school and we could recommend you an economic and qualitatively adequate training course.
